After four sold out UK retreats I am beyond excited to invite you to retreat with me in Eastern Algarve. Located in the small fishing town of Olhão, our home for the stay will be the historical villa Casa Fuzetta. This incredible venue boasts a rooftop terrace for yoga by the heated pool, a dedicated indoor yoga space and a meditation room, beautifully decorated spacious ensuite rooms, a living room with open fire place, a courtyard, a library and a games room. CNTraveller and Travel & Leisure (US) have both included Casa Fuzetta in their shortlists of the best yoga retreats in the world.

We begin the day your with breath work and meditation followed by a more dynamic practice that is suitable for all levels. In the evenings, we wind down with yin, restorative, yoga nidra and sound practices. Participation in all sessions and activities is of course optional. Healthy delicious meals will be prepared by a local chef on site. There are plenty of communal areas to connect with others, as well as quiet spaces to be on your own. For for the adventurous, the unspoilt Algarve with its islands and olive groves is there for you to discover, so you can get out of the week exactly what you need.

With the weather sunny, dry and delightfully warm at that time of the year, and the venue conveniently just a 15min drive from Faro airport, this promises to be the perfect early Winter escape.

We open the day with a morning meditation and breath work, followed by a more dynamic practice, and wind down with grounding practices including yin, restorative yoga, yoga nidra and sound practices in the evenings. Classes will be suitable for all levels. I provide modifications of postures with the aim of empowering you in your practice to make choices that reflect what you need in the moment, whether that is a gentler approach to your practice or challenging yourself to go further.

The classes will either take place on the rooftop next to the heated outdoor pool, or in the indoor yoga studio studio, weather depending. There is also a dedicated meditation room.

All rooms are spacious and ensuite. They can be set up as double or twin rooms, and are luxuriously equipped 100% cotton bed linen, towels, LaEva gold standard organic wash, lotion, shampoo & conditioner, hair driers, hammam beach towels … and yes, there is underfloor heating throughout. Some rooms have their own private outdoor space.

Daily maid service and a change of bed linen on day 3 are included.

There are plenty communal areas and private spaces to connect with others or be on your own, including a courtyard, the roof top, a library, a living room with open fire place, and a games room with pool table.

Delicious healthy vegetarian brunches and dinners prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Fresh tea, coffee and water are available all day, and there is an honesty bar for soft drinks and alcoholic beverages in place.
